Downloading

iBase allows you to make different versions of files available for download, depending on people's requirements and permissions. You can also embed metadata and watermarks at the point of download and crop or rotate images using predefined templates.

Download Original File

Download Original File

When you upload your files, the originals are stored untouched and unaltered with a digital digest that can be used to track duplicates and check for file integrity. Only those users to whom you grant access can download these files.

Download Different Versions

As well as the original file, iBase allows you to create any number of different versions of your files – these could be different formats or sizes, have watermarks or a different colourspace. These can be made available to different users for download according to their requirements and level of access.

Export Metadata

Export Metadata

When downloading image files, any descriptive or technical metadata – such as IPTC, EXIF, XMP, etc. – can be exported into those files using iBase's metadata mapping functionality. Different metadata maps can be associated with different download formats for maximum flexibility.

Watermark Images or Videos

iBase allows you to apply different watermarks to different download versions of both image and video files - these watermarks can be images or text, can be made as large or small as you like, be as opaque or transparent as required and can be positioned wherever you like within the viewable area of the file.

Crop or Rotate Images

Crop or Rotate Images

Images can be cropped, rotated, flipped or mirrored, and can be saved within the system over the existing file, as new versions of the file, or downloaded as an ad-hoc edit. Crop profiles can be set-up with different aspect ratios and saved for later use by yourself or other users.
