With already more than 8,000 images uploaded and available to logged-in users, the image library has become a valuable asset to administrative and academic staff.

The University of Westminster has made good use of iBase Trinity’s hierarchical keyword feature, building a top level structure consisting of –

  • Academic Subject
  • Building
  • Corporate Service Department
  • Events
  • Facilities
  • Faculty
  • London
  • Staff & Alumni
  • Students

With this, users can drill down level by level in a clear and visual way to quickly and easily find whatever they want.

Nick Laws, Head of Digital Communications and Publishing says “Using Trinity’s very flexible security model, University system administrators have been able to create exactly the access permissions they need for a wide range of departments and roles, with automatic logging in for users on the internal network”.
