How much does DAM cost?

Digital asset management can improve productivity, security and even brand consistency. But, as with any investment, it’s important to consider the cost of a digital asset management (DAM) system and the value it offers for your business or organisation. After all, nobody has a bottomless pot of gold.

In this post, we’ll explore how much DAM costs and the best option for your business.

Pricing things up

While many providers will force you to submit your details before giving away their pricing, at iBase, we like to do things differently. Our DAM software is available as three different packages:

  • Express – free
  • Premium – from £235 a month
  • On-Premises – a single payment of £4,950
  • Express

Our express package is free to use use for as long as you like. You get 1GB of storage for image, video, sound files or documents on one account, with unlimited view-only accounts for other users. It’s completely free, making it perfect to test drive our software and try things out.

    Premium

Premium is our most popular package, which is tailored to your requirements. As standard, you get unlimited users with no cap on the number of files and branding to match your website. The software comes with unlimited support in UK business hours plus four hours of initial online training to help you get the most out of our software.

Here’s the best bit. Our premium package is priced based on how much storage you need – starting at just £235 for 100GB of storage. You can adjust our simple online slider to the amount of storage you need, and it will display a set monthly price.

    On-premises

With our premium packages, you get set-up, hosting and security all rolled into one. However, some clients simply want our software installed on their own servers. That’s where our on-premises option comes into play.

For a single payment of £4,950, we can install iBase on an environment of your choice. That could be your internal servers or within your own cloud environment – AWS or Microsoft for instance. Once we’ve installed the system and shown you the ropes, there’s no additional payments and the amount of storage you use is up to you.

    Which is best for you?

With iBase, you’re free to choose the option that’s best for your business – both in terms of your requirements and your budget. Our premium plans are comprehensive, hassle-free and ideal for any level of storage. There are no requirements on your end, so you can get started as soon as you sign up.

However, if you already have internal servers or a cloud hosting package, it makes sense to invest in our on-premises option. We would always recommend getting a feel for our software beforehand though.

Sign up for iBase Express today to put our software to the test.
