New to DAM?

If you have digital files which need organising on the web, then you're in the right place at iBase

What are digital assets?

Put simply, files on a computer. Digital assets are any kind of file used with computers and usually on the web, such as:

  • Images
  • Documents
  • Videos
  • Audio files
  • PowerPoint presentations
  • Spreadsheets

What is digital asset management?

Digital asset management (DAM) is about storing and organising digital assets in a central location so that they can be uploaded; have textual data (metadata) associated with them as required; searched for; and if required - downloaded.

iBase DAM is browser based, and so users don't need any special software on their PC, Mac, or Apple and Android mobile devices such as a smart phone, iPad or other tablets. Work from your office, at home and on the move from anywhere in the world.

Is iBase DAM secure?

iBase enables permissions to be set by a system manager so that users can only do what the system manager allows them to do e.g. view, upload, edit, download etc…

Whether hosted in your I.T. environment or with iBase Media Services, access to see anything at all can be password protected, either for all items or perhaps those items that should be available only to internal users.

What can iBase be used for?

iBase can be used for anything you can imagine that requires the management and control of digital assets. Amongst the most common uses are image and video libraries, brand asset management, and management, control and sharing of internal digital assets.

What do you want to do?

Every organisation has some unique aspects of their requirements, and the core flexibility of iBase enables configuration to meet their needs.

iBase is so flexible and versatile there really is no limit to what it can be used for.
