Requirements Case Study No. 7

These are requirements that we have received, with information relating to the identity of the originator removed.

Basic requirements –
- Be able to share images in a light-box via email.
- Be able to share images to social media channels of choice.
- Ability to store images as well as video, and play video online.
- Ability to store other types of files such as PDF, InDesign, Word, etc…
Further requirements –
- Meta-tagging capabilities; being able to have checkbox fields, drop down menus, free text fields
- Being able to edit dropdown lists if have certain level of authorisation
- Being able to add and edit fields of entry as an administrator
- Being able to search by several meta-tags at the same time
- Being able to inverse a search
- Being able to select images and make them into a light-box
- Being able to batch upload images and batch meta-tag
- Be able to read any tags already attached to the images as we upload such as camera info
- Have a passworded section of site that clients can access and search but they must ask permission before they can download images
- Must be quick and easy to use and input tags
- Must have a workflow whereby all files uploaded to a waiting list
- Once meta-tags have been applied they can then be moved to an approval room
- Once approved by administrator they move into the main library
- Tree-like file structure ability
