Overview     Manager     Publish     Net     Quartet

Media management software with browser based administrative access. An extremely flexible security model allows
for the creation of any number of roles and permissions to be set for individuals, departments or any
other grouping - controlling what can be seen, edited or downloaded by whom.

iBase Quartet - is a browser based system for managing digital assets. Because it is browser based, all that PC and Mac users need is standard browser software - such as Microsoft Internet Explorer - and network or Internet access to the server on which iBase Quartet is deployed. The previous non multi-media version of Quartet was known as Image Manager.

It is the ideal system for organisations requiring highly flexible departmental security options, and the ability for authorised users to upload media and metadata from anywhere in the world, which can then be made immediately available to authorised users on the web or an intranet. Clients using iBase Quartet include British local authorities and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute (WHOI) in Boston, Massachusetts.

You can log in as a guest which will enable you to search and view images that WHOI administrators have set to be available to the general public.

Try some searches - the keyword search usefully provides details of what can be found. There are also simple, advanced and history searches available.

Click on a thumb - see the image metadata and other features available to you, including searching within results, viewing higher resolutions where available, and comparing images side by side.
